Sarkies at E&O Hotel

After a previous weekend visit at its sister hotel - Lone Pine (Batu Ferringhi), Sarkies at E&O Hotel proved to be a huge contrast as I had my pre-birthday dinner here with an entourage of friendly, smiling and apologetic staff and disappointing food. 

Salt-laden pesto spaghetti - the chef explained that he grabbed the salt twice instead of pepper. Abandoned any attempts to continue eating as my tongue was numb by then.

Left the place being zen and bloated with liquid. Though I must say that the sashimi was enjoyable.
